Welcome! I am Keelin ("Ms. Kee"), speech-language pathologist and owner/founder of Key Speech and Language. My passion for language and love of helping others are the core around which I have built my expertise as a speech and language clinician.
Since obtaining my Master's degree in Communication Disorders from New Mexico State University, I have served many families through early intervention/home health, outpatient clinics, and school systems throughout New Mexico, California, and Washington. With 10+ years of clinical experience, I have been honored with the opportunity to provide speech and language therapy services to linguistically, culturally, and neuro-diverse populations of children and adults.
My Life:
I moved to Tacoma, WA in 2021 with my 2 cats: KalaMata and 3 (pronounced, "three"),
and we <3 the PNW!
It has been great fun exploring the Puget Sound, climbing Mt. Rainier, and watching my favorite teams battle for the win.
(let's go Seattle⚽!)
Rainy days are nice too- the cats love when I stay home to play games with them, start a new art project, or relax on the couch to read or watch a funny movie.
🗝 As a bilingual pediatric speech-language pathologist with a background in linguistics, I am passionate about helping children communicate effectively with their families, friends, and communities.
🗝 I believe that all humans should have the means to express themselves, regardless of the manner of communication. It’s not how we communicate, but that we can communicate. Functionally, successfully, and
no matter the level of 🌶️neurospice🌶️.
🗝 I provide comprehensive evaluations in both English and Spanish, developing customized treatment plans that meet each client's specific speech and language needs.
🗝I work closely with families of children to ensure continued progress, offering parent training to support carry-over at home.
🗝 In addition to my pediatric services, I also offer specialized therapy for adults, including accent modification, dialect coaching, fluency, and gender-affirming voice therapy.
🗝 My home-based services are flexible- offered in the comfort of your home or within your community, and I approach each case with a culturally-sensitive, inclusive, and non-judgmental mindset.
